Hoboes Bundle app for iPhone and iPad

To honor the mobile workers who road  the U.S. railway freight car system most prominently after the United States Civil War, we have named our app, Hoboes Bundle™.

Hoboes Bundle™ contains tools that will assist you  in finding and getting work.  You can trade your time and talents for the things that you need.  Fellow traders have items of value that they will trade for your labor.  

You can swap items that you do not need for items that you need or want.  

Why use the app? 

Bartering is universal commerce. Even though no currency is exchanged, people assign trade values based on their local currency. This app is designed for quick calculation of barter values based on USD and evaluated in terms of other currencies.

Barterlator, a calculator to compute the Net value of your trades. [=T] Equal Trade Estimator to evaluate your trades in world currencies such as [ dollars, euros, yen, pounds, rupees, pesos, etc.]

This is an "in the moment" and "in the field" app. The app travels light like the hoboes bundle that inspired it.
The app is made to be carried with you. The app will help you get the things that you need or want through bartering.

How do you use the app? 

The Barterlator is a RPN, Reverse Polish Notation, calculator. You type in each value and tap enter to submit the value. 
The Barterlator calculates based on LIFO, "Last In--First Out". 



Always enter the value of your offer first.



The Barterlator computes the "Net Trade Value" or the "Labor Value".

Net Trade Value: Type the value of the item or service that you are offering in the trade and tap enter. 
Next, type in the value of your item or service that your are receiving in the the trade and tap enter. Tap Trade value button to compute the net trade value. 

Even trade [=T] will result in zero
Trade Up will result in positive net value
Trade Down will result in negative net value

-For Labor Value: type in your labor value in terms of value per hour and tap enter. Second,type in the number or service hours that you offer to work for trade and tap enter. To compute, tap Labor Rate.

Clear, “C” button clears all entries.

The Barterlator stores values only while running. The app uses short-term memory for calculations and has a small footprint.
